Baking the world a better place

Making sourdough bread takes 2 days from start to finish and, because of this, we have an order cut-off of 2 days prior to pick-up. For example, if you want to pick-up on Saturday, we have to know by Thursday so that we can feed our starter enough that evening and then start the dough for your loaf on Friday morning. All day Friday we'll be working with your dough to ensure it has the great structure, texture, and flavor you expect. Your dough will then spend the night in the refrigerator to continue its bulk fermentation. Early Saturday morning, we'll bake your bread so that it is the freshest it can be. 

We only start bread on Thursdays and Fridays for weekend pick-up because our baker (Dawn) is a nurse and travels through the week. And, yes, she takes her starter with her and feeds it every day. She might be a little obsessed with it. :)

This is basically the same answer as for the breads. If you want special decorations; however, then you need to order at least a week in advance. For special decoration requests, please call/text/email in advance so that we can discuss your occasion and be sure we can accommodate your request prior to ordering.

Yes, sometimes we do have bread ready that you can get the same day. We generally bake bread every weekend (usually Sundays), so just send us a text, call or email and we'll let you know if we have any available. For our other baked goods such as cookies and cupcakes, just reach out to see if we can accommodate your order quickly. We'd love to try to help any way we can! 

No, you do not. If you prefer to pay at pick-up, select Pick-Up Payment Options at check out. For payment at pick-up, we take cash, Venmo, and CashApp. All payments are due at time of pick-up. Special decoration orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Unfortunately, we are not techy enough to figure out how to remove the Buy Now option when ordering (listen, we were doing good to get a domain and website up). So, if you choose Buy Now instead of Add To Cart when ordering, our order notification does not show what date/time you select. To work around this, we ask that you re-enter your selected pick-up date/time so that it always prints on your invoice and our order notification. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to one day figure this out. :) Whoever can solve it for us gets a free dozen cupcakes!
